Network communications error. Please verify settings.
After entering your HHC User Name, Password, & Network, you do a Test Login and receive the following error message "Network communications error. Please verify settings." This error will be displayed if the correct network setting is not selected. Scroll to the Network setting and click the track wheel and choose Change Option then choose your wireless carrier, if your carrier is not listed try the BIS setting and Test Login, if you still receive the "Network communications error. Please verify settings." Please check the list of carriers below for special configurations or contact our support team and we will provide you with further assistance. support@handheldcontact.com

Step #1
On your Blackberry from the Home Screen open Options (If you do not have Options on your Home Screen look for Settings) then open Advanced Options-->TCP, Enter the following
APN: blackberry.vodafone.nl
Username: vodafone
Password: vodafone
Once you have entered the following click the track wheel and Save.
Step #2
From the Blackberry Home Screen open HHC Contacts, (Some users may find HHC Contact under Applications) once in HHC Contact click the track wheel and select Options , this will take you to your HHC Settings scroll to Network click the track wheel and select Change Option , choose Direct in this list of carriers, click the track wheel again and select Test Login , once you have received a Login Succeeded message click the track wheel once more and select Save .

UK - T-Mobile Configurations

US - T-Mobile Configurations
T-Mobile has made some changes to their network for the better and in order for HHC to work with these changes please follow the steps below.
Before we begin you will need your T-Mobile account info. Please click on the following link or type the address in an IE window: https://my.t-mobile.com/Login/
Please type your Blackberry phone number in the Phone Number field then hit Forgot Your Password, this will send an e-mail to your Blackberry with your password. Once you have received your T-Mobile account e-mail proceed to steps below.
Step #1
On your Blackberry scroll to Options, (7100 users, you will need to scroll to Settings/Tools) in this menu open TCP, in the APN field type wap.voicestream.com in the UserName field type your BB phone#, in the password type the password you received in you T-Mobile e-mail, click the toggle wheel and select Save.

Step #2
From the Blackberry home screen open HHC Contacts, (7100 users you will need to open Applications first) once in HHC Contact click the toggle wheel and select Options, this will take you to your HHC Settings scroll to Network click the toggle wheel and select Change Option, choose Direct in this list of carriers, click the toggle wheel again and select Test Login, once you have received a Login Succeeded message click the toggle wheel once more and select Save. If you received a "Network Communications Error" your Blackberry software might need to be updated, On the Blackberry go to the Home Screen then Options or Tools then Settings, open About and compare your Blackberry Vx.x.x.xxx (Platformx.x.x.xx) to the version on T-Mobile site http://www.t-mobile.com/bbupgrade/
FR - Orange Configurations
