Multi-task on your BlackBerry

This is probably the least-known but most useful tip! It will help you get several things done simultaneously on your BlackBerry device.

With this tip you can

• check your calendar while on a phone call
• check or enter a new address while on a call
• add a memo item while on a call

Click here for instructions on using your BlackBerry speakerphone. Multi-tasking will help you remember what you heard on the call so you never have to waste time taking notes and entering them later. Just type it now - right on your BlackBerry!

How to do it:

1. Press the ALT key (Lower leftmost key on your BlackBerry/half-moon on standard keyboard BlackBerry or up/down arrow on 7100 Series)
2. While holding ALT, press the ESC key or Back key under the trackwheel on the side.
3. You'll see a list of programs running (either in icon or list), just select what you want to open and let go of ESC.
